From 1990 I had a contact who was VHS taping me triathlon highlights from Eurosport. And the BBC showed one event a year. In 1989 it was the Heineken Southport Triathlon. In 1990 and 1991 it was the Heineken / Donnay Triathlon in Portsmouth. And from 1992 onwards it was the Bath Triathlon. Put on by the 220 magazine team.

But we could also source some extra dynamite content by buying VHS tapes out of a car boot at race venues.

This is 3 Ways To Do It by Dave Meads. He was a good triathlete too. And had a HUGE shoulder-based camera. Based out of Leicester AND Boulder. He also seems to be still racing. Go Dave!
